It was standing room only on the day. We heard from Peter Aldous, his fellow MPs, Hugh Ellis of the TCPA and Naomi Ludhe-Thompson of RCA as well as district councillors and UseYourVoiceLowestoft. It was an opportunity to air the questions that have arisen from the postponent or cancellation of Lowestoft’s flood barrier as well as the news of the cancellation of 499 unnamed flood defence projects across the UK.
The Minister for Flooding was invited to attend but unfortunately could not be present.
